The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers has been invited to tour areas of concern along the BlanchardRiver in northwest Ohio that are susceptible to flooding. 5th District Congressman Bob Latta has issued the invitation, and will lead the tour Wednesday afternoon. This event is meant to build on the work already done along the BlanchardRiver to continue progress on the risk management plan for flooding. This flooding has impacted the communities of Findlay and Ottawa in particular. Congressman Latta reports this risk management plan is critical to the safety and economic growth of these communities.
