A Napoleon man suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision (Wed.) morning at 6:23am just east of McClure. The Henry County Sheriff’s office investigated the accident on U.S. 6 near the Henry-WoodCounty line. 21 year old Devon Sonnenberg of Napoleon was eastbound on the highway; and apparently drifted left of center, striking a westbound semi, driven by Marvin Pendleton of Millbury, Ohio. Sonnenberg sustained serious injuries; and was transported by Life Flight; to St. VincentMedicalCenter in Toledo. He was listed in Fair condition; while the driver of the semi was not injured. DamascusTownship fire and rescue assisted at the scene.
Another injury accident was investigated by the sheriff’s office in HenryCounty. At 12:44pm yesterday, two vehicles collided at the intersection of county road 424, and HenryCounty road 17-D. 66 year old Marc Short of Florida pulled from the intersection, and into the path of a vehicle driven by 76 year old SanJuana Gonzales of Napoleon. Gonzales suffered injuries; and was transported to the HenryCountyHospital by Jewell Rescue.
