It looks like future LibertyCenter students will be learning in a new building.  Residents in the school district supported a bond issue for a new kindergarten through 12th grade facility, by a margin of over 200 votes in the primary election Tuesday.

The state facilities commission would supply 63% of the funding for the project, while the remaining dollars were approved by LibertyCenter voters.  Peter Leatherman is president of the Liberty Center school board of education, and reports the levy committee got the message to district residents.

The new school will be built on the site of the current building in LibertyCenter.
