A jury trial in Henry County Common Pleas Court has wrapped-up with a quick verdict. Greg Vela of Napoleon was facing a fifth degree felony charge of Intimidation of a Victim. The trial opened before Judge John Collier Wednesday, with the state calling four witnesses, including the victim in the case. The defendant, Greg Vela was the only witness called to the stand, to testify in his own defense. After instructions from Judge Collier; a HenryCounty jury of six men and six women found Vela guilty of Intimidation of a Victim, deliberating about 75 minutes. The intimidation occurred in the Napoleon Municipal Courtroom on January 30th. Sentencing for Greg Vela is scheduled for September 10th.
