Listen to One Direction on iHeartRadio

The boys of One Direction are kicking off the U.S. leg of their "Take Me Home" tour tonight.  Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn and Liam are taking the stage at the Bank Atlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida after a short break from months on the road in their native U.K and Europe.

After hitting more than 30 other major cities like Nashville, Boston, Chicago and Las Vegas, One Direction will end their trek with four back-to-back shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in August.  The American tour will lead up to the release of their 3D concert documentary directed by Morgan Spurlock, out in theaters on August 30th.

It is rumored that One Direction is planning on taking America by storm with the help of an unusual tour bus.  The group is reportedly going to be using a custom-made replica of the "Mystery Machine" from the "Scooby Doo" series.

Louis and Zayn have tweeted photos of the van, but it is unclear whether it will be used for touring purposes, as reported in "The Mirror" earlier this year.
