UNITED WAY KICKS OFF 2017 CAMPAIGN

The 2017 United Way campaign kicked-off in Henry County with a goal of $450,000.   Your contributions will help the United Way fund close to two dozen agencies that serve families across Henry County from birth to senior years.               Some pace-setting groups got rolling with 8% increases reported in giving from employees at Napoleon Elementary and Liberty Center Schools.  A 9% increase was reported by employees at Holgate Schools.                  The per capita giving at the Henry County Bank and First Federal both topped $190, and the Farmer’s and Merchants State Bank jumped by 8% in their contributions over last year.

The professional division in Henry County has already contributed over $14,900; while corporate and major gifts have launched the campaign with over $41,000.            All together, the pace-setter giving has put the United Way campaign at 21% of their goal so far; but there’s more work to do, as many other worksite employee giving campaigns get underway.

This year’s drive is chaired by Amy Etzler, with Cameron Caryer (carrier) serving as vice chair.
