The highway patrol has released more information concerning a single vehicle injury crash that occurred in Defiance County on June 1st. The accident happened on a Friday afternoon on the Adams Ridge Road, when 16 year old Kendyl Snow of Defiance lost control of her Chevy Suburban. The auto struck a power pole and rolled into a field causing serious injuries for the driver, and two passengers: 14 year old Kaitlyn Schnitkey and 12 year old Kara Schnitkey, both of Napoleon. Kendyl Snow and Kara Schnitkey were both transported by Life Flight to St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, and have since been released. Kaitlin Schnitkey was treated and released from Pro Medica Defiance Regional Medical Center. Troopers report injuries were significantly reduced by the use of safety belts by all occupants of the vehicle.
