Post Malone Earns Second No. 1 Album With 'Hollywood's Bleeding'

Leeds Festival 2019

Post Malone just hit another milestone in his career with the release of Hollywood's Bleeding.

After its arrival on September 6, the rapper's third studio album shot straight to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 489,000 equivalent units in the United States within its first week, Billboard reported Sunday (September 15). Per the music outlet, 200,000 units of that sum were in album sales, which earned the lyricist the second-biggest week for an album in 2019.

Posty's achievements don't stop there. With the LP garnering 365.4 million on-demand audio streams, Hollywood's Bleeding has the biggest streaming week for a record this year. As aforementioned, this is the 24-year-old's second number-one following beerbongs & bentleys, which debuted at the top spot in 2018.

The news of the "Sunflower" musician's latest effort topping the charts comes a week after he unveiled the lit lineup for his second annual Posty Fest, taking place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on November 2. Among the roster of acts billed to perform at the event, so far include: Meek Mill, Pharrell Williams, Jaden Smith, Dominic Fike, Rae Sremmurd, Doja Cat, Yella Beezy, Tyla Yaweh, SAINt JHN, Iann Dior, Beach Fossils, Snowy, Maj, and Kerwin Frost.

The Texas-bred artist's latest record includes songs like "Wow," "Goodbyes," "Circles," featuring Young Thug, and "Saint-Tropez," which received the music video treatment last week.
