Former NFL Player Terrelle Pryor Stabbed In Pittsburgh

NFL: JUN 03 Jacksonville Jaguars OTA

Former NFL quarterback and wide receiver Terrelle Pryor is in critical condition after getting stabbed in his apartment in Pittsburgh. A woman, who has not been identified, is in custody in connection with the stabbing.

He was reportedly stabbed in the chest and the shoulder and was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. His family is by his side at the hospital, and he is expected to survive.

Officials have not released any details about the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.

When Pryor first entered the NFL, he started off as a quarterback with the Oakland Raiders but decided to change positions and became a wide receiver. In 2016, he caught 77 passes for 1,007 yards while playing for the Cleveland Browns, but was unable to replicate that success. He spent time with the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, and Washington Redskins before being cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars in September.
