CAMPBELL SOUP COMPANY, NOURISHING ITS NEIGHBORS

When you think of major corporations, you sometimes forget they are made-up of thousands of caring people. And that story rings true at the Campbell Soup Company, with their huge plant in Napoleon.

All through the year, Campbells provides donations of food products that go to area food banks and are distributed to local pantries for families in need.

They allow groups like veterans, first responders, and teachers to shop their company store to save money on food for their families.

The latest project for Campbell Soup employees has been their ‘adopt a family’ program through ‘Help me Grow’.Community involvement teams made-up of Campbell’s employees, make-up boxes with food, toys, and gift wrapping provided to families.28 of those families were recipients this holiday season.

And earlier in the year when the government shutdown was underway, Campbell Soup provided 8,600 pounds of food through donations to the Coast Guard employees in the Toledo area that were not being paid.

It’s easy to see that Campbell Soup, and their employees are living up to their motto - ‘nourish our neighbors’.
