NEARLY 300 VOLUNTEERS JOIN SEARCH FOR LITTLE BOY IN PUTNAM COUNTY

Nearly 300 people have joined the search for a missing boy in Putnam County.5 year old Isaac Schroeder of Ft. Jennings was last seen at his home on county road 3 near Ft. Jennings Wednesday afternoon.The Putnam County Sheriff’s office initiated the search, and they have been joined by other volunteers, along with the highway patrol, the Toledo underwater dive team, and search dogs from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.The home where Isaac lives is along the Auglaize River, so boats are out on the water keeping watch.About 300 volunteers showed-up at the Ft. Jennings Park this morning to look for the youth, who is sporting a recent crew cut.It’s believed he may be wearing only underwear.The missing child is autistic.Anyone that would like to join the search is asked to check-in at the Ft. Jennings Park, and bring an ID.
