TWO FATAL ACCIDENTS IN NW OHIO OVER THE WEEKEND

There were two fatal crashes investigated in northwest Ohio over the weekend that resulted in three deaths.

In Paulding County, a double-fatal accident occurred Saturday around 7:25am on Township Road 94, in a rollover crash. A vehicle driven by 41 year old Kathy Szumanski of Coldwater, Michigan went off the right side of the road and overturned. Szumanski and her passenger, 38 year old Misty Miller of Ft. Wayne were both ejected from the auto and suffered critical injuries. They were both pronounced dead at the scene by the Paulding County Coroner.

Then in Wood County at 3:27am Sunday, a vehicle crashed into the ditch on Cloverdale Road.19 year old Curtis Helman of Brunswick, Ohio was killed in the accident, and pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger was transported to the Wood County Hospital, but her identity has not been released.
