JULY RAINFALL DOUBLES THE AVERAGE FOR NW OHIO

If you thought the month of July seemed like a wet one in northwest Ohio; you were right. The rain gauge measured a whopping 8.04 inches for July, double the normal precipitation for the month. There were 13 days of measurable moisture, with the biggest rain on July 23rd, when 1.66 inches fell. But there were 5 days in the month with about an inch or more of rain. The average rainfall for August is 3.28 inches in northwest Ohio.
