Is it possible that as a society we are "Star Wars-ed" out? The Box Office draw from the last two weekends for "Solo: A Star Wars Story" might be proof of that. This was a movie that was suppose to do monster numbers this summer, instead it's domestic gross through 2 weekends is below $150 Million. Star Wars The Last Jedi through 2 weekends had already grossed $368 Million last December.
Now, I liked "Solo" and thought it was a welcome addition to the series. Was it perfect? No. I certainly didn't think it was going to scary people from the box office. Have you seen it? Let me know your thoughts on the film! Why do you think its struggling?
Anyhow, Here is your top 5 by the numbers:
1. "Solo: A Star Wars Story"- $29.3 Million
2. "Deadpool 2"- $23.3 Million
3. "Adrift" $11.5 Million
4. "Avengers Infinity War" $10.4 Million
5. "Book Club"- $6.8 Million
