"Mission: Impossible - Fallout" Keeps Top Spot At Box Office

Tom Cruise and "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" snagged it's second week topping the box office over a number of new releases. That list included "The Darkest Minds," "The Spy Who Dumped Me," and most surprisingly, "Christopher Robin." I genuinely though the story featuring Winnie the pooh would win this weekend in it's debut. There are other children movies in theaters it's competing with ("Teen Titans GO! To The Movies," "Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation," and "Incredibles 2"). I also consider this last weekend to be the last major movie weekend of the summer. I guess with M:I6's draw, movie season might have ended in July!

Here's the top 5 from the weekend:

1. "Mission: Impossible - Fallout"- $35 Million

2. "Disney's Christopher Robin"- $25 Million

3. "The Spy Who Dumped Me"- $12.3 Million

4. "Mama Mia! Here We Go Again"- $9 Million

5. "The Equalizer 2"- $8.8 Million
