Assortments of buttons, shirts, and miscellaneous merchandise at this year's Republican National Convention in Cleveland are more overtly sexist and offensive than ever before. While some of the standard political gear is available, such as "Make America Great Again" hats, Donald Trump's bombastic rhetoric paired with popular Hillary-hatred from Republican voters has helped produce merch that reflects exactly what Trump supporters want to hear.
A few weeks before the start of the convention, retailer Sam Costantino told Time magazine that his anti-Hillary items are nearly 100 times more popular than the rest of his stock. Venders selling pro-Trump gear say that they are simply fulfilling the demand.
One anti-Hillary button has even upset KFC. The button says "KF Hillary Special 2 Fat Thighs 2 Small Breasts...Left Wing". KFC told TMZ they have nothing to do with the button and do not get involved in politics.
