It’s also a product that creates over 8,000 jobs around the state, including growth of 2,700 employees in just the past five years.
The number of wineries in Ohio has grown from 175 to 265 over the last five years, ranking the Buckeye State at #6 in the country for wine production. It’s also a tourist destination, with nearly 1.4 million people visiting those wineries.
