NAPOLEON WINDING DOWN PHASE 1 OF DT PROJECT

The 2017 phase of Napoleon’s downtown street improvements should be wrapped-up later this week.  That was the news delivered to the council ‘municipal properties’ committee Monday night.   Railings are going-in to separate the extended sidewalks from the street; and North Perry should be open to traffic by Saturday or Sunday.           That will allow the annual Christmas Parade to take-off through the downtown next Monday, November 20th.                  The West Washington phase of the downtown street improvements in Napoleon are scheduled for 2018.

Napoleon Municipal Properties Committee also reviewed ideas about the large flower pots lining the parking lot at the city building on West Riverview.  One option was to move the flower pots throughout the downtown, and install a guardrail along west Front Street, adjacent to the city building parking lot.
