Would Lady Gaga ever resurrect her iconic 2010 meat dress?
That seems to be the question on fan's minds after the "Paparazzi" star took a lie detector test and the answer came back inconclusive. Gaga, born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, recently sat down with Vanity Fair and put her truth to the test with a series of fan questions ranging from where she's from to intimate details about her life and career.
Right off the bat, the machine revealed that, despite how nervous the "LoveGame" hitmaker was in the moment, she had a good poker face! Gaga shuffled through a series of fashion questions and inquires about fellow creatives before arriving at THEE question.
"You famously wore a dress made out of raw meat to the 2010 VMA's and that has since been preserved into beef jerky. Would you wear raw beef as couture again," the outlet questioned. The "Alejandro" songstress paused for a moment before remarking, "I don't think so, no." When the results of her answer came back inconclusive, Gaga was surprised to say the least.
"Oh. Well, that was a surprise."
According to People, the legendary meat dress still very much exists and, after touring around the country for a few years as part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's "Women Who Rock" exhibition, "became part of the exhibit at the Haus of Gaga museum in Las Vegas in 2019."
