Baby Yoda.
If ya'll haven't been paying attention, the Twitterverse - and really, the viral universe as a whole - exploded today because people are discovering just how adorable BABY YODA from THE MANDALORIAN really is.
If you don't know, MANDO is the new STAR WARS universe-based television show, made exclusively for Disney+, the new streaming service from The House Of Mouse. It's pretty epic. Penned by director Jon Favreau, the show is based post-Empire Strikes Back and is in many ways a modern-space-based Western. It's pretty damn good, if I must say so myself, and I didn't expect it to be as amazing as it has been, just two episodes in. However, Favreau is a genius for a reason, and this show's writing, it's acting, it's passion... it just comes alive. Incredible characters, incredible story-telling... this show has all the makings of bringing about it's own movie...
... but I'm probably getting way ahead of myself.
Anyway, BABY YODA is in the show. He's not the actual YODA, but he's a 50 year old member of Yoda's species. Not much is known about Baby Yoda... yet... but one can bet on a few things:
Baby Yoda is gonna be around for a while.
Baby Yoda is gonna be Disney's BLOCKBUSTER CHRISTMAS TOY when they're made, whenever that is.
Baby Yoda is going to bring some FORCE to the FORCE in the post Rise of Skywalker world.
